Not only are the pieces of the ACA already in effect working out better than expected, but the evidence from states which are already in the advanced planning stages prior to its full implementation in 2014 suggests that it will indeed cover more people, be even more affordable than predicted, and save money on both medicare and prescription costs. Republicans who are still trying to repeal it are looking more mean-spirited — and more foolish — every day.
